At the highest levels of the field, the percentage would be even greater, since around 95% of those in charge of the medical fields have shown they are in the pockets of Pfizer or other pharma companies. In the regulatory agencies, it is more like 99%. All these people are forever compromised and should never be trusted again. They should be forever shunned as dangerous to the general weal.

Having lived (and been born) in the USSR, no, the commies were never such control freaks. In fact, everything was quite loose and shoddy, also in terms of enforcement. If you had a friend or a spare bottle of vodka you could get away with anything, including going anywhere and stealing anything in (always) state-owned companies.

Many communist ‘dictatorships’ were much more free than the US or England today. I lived in one such dictatorship for a few years in the 1980s. It was a vibrant free society compared to the US today.

Why I hate the “news”
I am a fairly “savvy” consumer of news.
I have a well-developed BS-o-meter, due to decades of reading the “news”.
I know that the “news” are lying 90% of the time; outright lies, selective reporting, lies by omission, etc.; the New York Slimes and the Washington ComPost being world class leaders.
I do hate being lied to, by a source that I (kind of) trust, even if it is by only omission.
I sort of “trust” RT (Russia Today); I think they lie the least.
Today, while reading a report about what people are the heaviest alcoholics in the world (it’s the Aussies) I learned that …
there was NEVER a “real” lockdown in Australia –
“most states … only went through short and sharp lockdowns“
“hospitality venues to remain open and more events to take place“
Except the State of Victoria, where the Capital, Melbourne is situated.
The “news” informs me of this fact/reality/truth, only after a very long year and half of fear mongering.
