Anyone remember (in the ’70s) the Presidential Physical Fitness courses during P.E. and if you excelled you got a cool blue patch? There were measured goals to reach and attain for minimum health fitness-very important that we bring this back! If this was before your time, the goals were reaching a certain amount of pull ups for boys, bar hang for the girls, 500-meter walk/run, sprints, sit ups and a few other running/race type events, as I recall. It was wonderful and fun for most kids.
